The War Against Men

The War Against Men

Today I want to share a message that has been on my mind quite a lot.

While reading “Wild at Heart” I came across this quote:

“To give a man back his heart is the hardest mission on earth.”

A War Against Men

What is this referring to?

There are a lot of angles here, but paramount amount them is the war that is being waged against men in our society.

We are being told masculinity is bad. That patriarchy is the root of our problems. That being a man is shameful.

I reject these beliefs and believe the opposite to be true.

Masculinity is at the very foundation of a strong society.

Being a man is an honor and great responsibility.

We NEED Strong Men

If we are going to recover from the rot we are experiencing, men must regain their hearts.

I think of the quote form our founding, by Thomas Paine:

THESE are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.

Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.

What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.

Men, these times are trying our souls. We are fighting unprecedented evil in this battle to live up to what God created us for.

Just like Tyranny, this evil is not easily conquered.

And yet, we have the same promise: the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.

God Created us to be Powerful!

Let’s not shrink. God created us to be powerful – as his children, we have this endowment directly from Him.

It’s time to find our hearts again. Be what you know you were created to be.

You can feel it deep inside your soul. It’s power, determination, a desire to protect, a longing for freedom, adventure.

It’s all the things they are saying bad and undesirable, embrace those qualities and use them to do good.

God Bless,
