Darron grew up in a small town in Eastern Utah, and after serving a two-year religious mission moved to Salt Lake City to attend College.
Darron graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in finance. From a young age he has loved entrepreneurialism – where he would often start small businesses as a kid – which included anything from selling candy and basketball cards, to a lawn mowing business.
Darron has long been a faithful supporter of the U.S. Military. Over the past 10 years he has worked closely with veterans in helping them reach their financial goals while using their VA Home Loan Benefit to buy a home.
He resides in Herriman, Utah with his wife and three young children.
As an expert in personal finance, he spends a great deal of time helping others conquer their finances so they can live a more fulfilling life.
As an Army Brat who grew up moving all around the world – when the time came it made sense for me to enlist in the local Army National Guard unit – I was 17 years old.
I became a 68W combat medic (91B at the time) with the 1457th combat engineer battalion. I served as a line medic with 3rd PLT Alpha company.
I completed one 15-month tour to Baghdad Iraq in the spring of 2003 until the summer of 2004.
I completed my 6-year commitment and continued my civilian education becoming an emergency room RN.
In 2011 my O-4 brother talked me into joining his unit and becoming Airborne. It sounded like a great idea so I took a commission and joined the 197th Special Troops Company and then moved into the 19th SFG.
I currently work as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in an Emergency Department in Northern Utah.
