Joe Biden is Wrong
Not sure what else to say about the list of tyrannical mandates that came from Biden this week.
Over the last year I have been reading more of the founders’ writings, and cannot help but compare it against what we heard on Thursday.
Joe Biden: This is not about freedom or personal choice.
Benjamin Franklin: Those that give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty or safety.
This quote by Franklin fits so well into what we have lived over the last 18 months.
I am not downplaying the severity of the virus for many individuals.
But what those who are thirsty for power understand is that if you can instill fear, you can control the masses.
The issue that many are not understanding is that whatever “temporary safety” you do get from these measures will be exactly that, just temporary.
And in the end, you have neither safety nor liberty.
This drive for power will not stop at the mandates we heard on Thursday; they want it all – and won’t be happy until they get it.
It is really important that we understand this is not right vs left, republican vs democrat, conservative vs liberal.
This is good vs evil.
The sooner we all awaken to that reality, the better off we will be.
I believe most Americans truly want to be left alone to pursue their form of happiness.
But that happiness will not come by the promises of safety from our government.
It comes by building strong families and communities.
It comes by having personal liberty to choose for oneself.
There is nothing that the government can do for me or my neighbor that we cannot do better for one another.
Joe Biden is wrong.
This has everything to do with Freedom.
Without Freedom, all is eventually lost.
This country was founded by the hand of God, and in so doing, He knew that true development could only occur when we are able to have our agency to choose.
The prosperity we have seen in our economy – from Freedom.
The miraculous innovations – from Freedom
Being the beacon of hope for the whole world – from Freedom.
If Freedom is lost, eventually everything will be lost with it.
The ramifications of that are greater – in my opinion – than the threat we face from the virus.
My faith has taught me that fear is contrary to spiritual growth.
That without agency to choose, we are unable to progress.
For this reason, I believe Freedom is worth fighting for.
These mandates came at a very interesting time.
When our hearts and minds are turned towards the loss that we experience on 9/11, Freedom should be our focus.
And yet, we are being told it is not about Freedom.
We are being told to give up rights for safety.
It is on this very weekend that Americans should be united – but that is the last thing they want.
It is time for us to come together.
To be united as Americans.
I hope we can all do a better job at serving those around us.
It’s not us vs them – it’s good vs evil.
For anyone who wants prosperity and real safety, Freedom is the only answer.
If we can come together on that point, good will prevail.
Thanks for reading and God Bless,
