It's Not Over Until it's Over

It's Not Over Until it's Over

Hello Patriots,

The forces who would destroy Freedom with the snap of a finger- if they could - want you to believe that the fight is over.

It seems like every force imaginable is combining against the cause of Patriotism and Freedom.

It even feels like many of our own citizens are more than happy to give it all up.

I can’t help but think back to our founding during times like this.

Even during the American Revolution, many were indifferent or even fought against the cause of Freedom.

Those early Patriots must have felt a lot like we do today.

And as I sit back and think about the idea of Freedom in our country, I cannot reconcile why anything other than absolute Freedom would be acceptable – to any of us.

I believe the answer comes down to three main explanations.

A Separation from Truth

At first, I felt like it came down to lack of education - and for many people that is definitely the case.

But as you look further, especially into our education system, there is an abundance of “education” among the masses.

We all know those individuals who have plenty of “knowledge” that can be recalled, but how much of it is accurate?

Ronald Reagan once said, “the problem with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant, it’s that they know so much that isn’t so.”

To me it isn’t necessarily a liberal, conservative, right, or left issue.

With the mass amount of information at our fingertips, it is easy to be misinformed

The real question comes down to this: are we deciphering correctly truth from error?

Days of Comfort

We all remember back to the Occupy Wall Street movement we saw a few years back.

What always perplexed me about this movement was their use of technology and other resources that were a direct result of the prosperity from capitalism.

It reminded me of the quote, “good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.”

While there are flaws in any economic system, the prosperity in capitalism is unrivaled.

And yet, there are those among us who would do everything they can to destroy that prosperity – even though they have greatly benefited from the system.

As we become prosperous as a people, it is not uncommon for us to become complacent – and even ungrateful.

These days of comfort have made us a weak society in many regards.

Very few of us know anything about true poverty or hunger.

It is easy for these groups to fight against this comfort we ALL enjoy while having good technology, housing, and food.

But how seriously can those protest be taken when these luxuries are still in place?

This comfort has blinded us from how blessed we really are – and my guess is if we lose this system people will be begging for it back.

Those who fight against it, unless they have studies places like Venezuela, have very little understanding just how devastating it will be if they get their way.

Which leads us to the final point.

If they truly do understand the destruction these changes will bring, why are they fighting for it?

Evil is Among US

For those that understand the impact of taking away freedom and capitalism, the only final explanation is evil.

I don’t believe that the majority of our citizenry fit into this category.

For the most part, I believe it comes down to either bad education or misinformation for those individuals.

This category of being evil is reserved for those who want to change the current system so that they have more power.

Those who would take freedom from one group and try to take it for themselves, are evil.

There is no other way about it.

This country, and the prosperity it has enjoyed, is a result of Freedom – which was bestowed by the hand of God.

The Unites States has been the beacon of hope for the whole world.

Its flaws have come at the hand of imperfection in its leaders and citizens.

Most of the flaws in capitalism are from cronyism.

The system that was created by our founders is as perfect of a system as mortals can create.

And the only thing these other countries needed to do to enjoy that same prosperity is to adopt and implement what we have here.

Those who want to destroy that hope and prosperity have bad motives in mind, and are following the hand of evil.

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, we are all responsible for being informed and learning how to decipher truth from error.

Hoping that the issues we are facing will just go away without effort is ill-placed hope.

If we want to see truth prevail, we have to be willing to educate ourselves and fight for those principles.

I believe we will be accountable to our Maker for what we did to preserve this gift of Freedom that He has given us.

The powerful thing about truth is that it stands on its own.

We don’t have to convince others of it, we have just to be willing to share those principles and allow it to resonate with them.

That is how we all become converted to truth, and any willing individual will be receptive to that.

For now, we must be anxiously engaged in understanding, accepting, and implementing what we know to be right and true.

We must be willing to have counsel with God and ask Him to help us understand.

Once we know those truths for ourselves, we can then help share it with others.

…and when thou are converted, strengthen thy brethren [family, friends, and neighbors].
